My Goals: My goal for this year in language is to become a better speller.
What are we doing this right now:
In class we are writing poems.
What I am proud of:
I am proud of a Christmas poem I wrote.
Christmas
On the night of Christmas Eve,
I never can fall asleep,
When I wait for Christmas day.
Soon I start to drift off,
Then I fall asleep.
I am suddenly awakened by my sister,
When she has bounded on my bed.
I begin to tell her to go back to sleep,
When I remember its Christmas Day.
We race down the stairs,
And wait for Mom and Dad.
They finally come down the stairs,
And we run for the dining room.
We see the tree lit up and shinning,
And the presents underneath the tree.
Mom brings in hot chocolate,
While we all open our gifts.
And everyone is happy on
Christmas Day.
